This house is off NC-87 near Rowan, NC. This picture was taken in 1994 when I was exploring the old house. The best I could tell it has probably stood empty since 1955. At the time I was there they stored hay in the kitchen which was connected to the main house by a breezeway. The was a huge two story house with at least 8 large rooms that were around 20 by 20 feet plus the kitchen and bathroom.
