The line runs through the city of Wilmington and this section is between Mercer Avenue and Forest Hills Drive looking toward forest Hills Drive. It is about a 20 foot drop, but the water in this part of Burnt Mill Creek is only about 1 to 2 feet deep most of the year. In years past from time to time kid would damn the creek to make a swimming hole, but the kid today are to busy at computer screen to play there and it is overgrown to the point you can hardly get to the creek.
