This is Yamacraw, North Carolina a rural crossroads about 45 miles from From Wilmington, NC. As you can see there is nothing anywhere near the sign although there is a Baptist church about a 1/4 mile east of the sign, but even the church is named after another small town about 10 miles away. So you ask "Why go to Yamacraw, NC?" That is simple Uncle Phillip. Not my uncle though. If you ever watched the TV show Fresh Prince of Bellaire staring Will Smith you may have heard his Uncle Phil talking about growing up in Yamacraw, NC. Now you know why he didn't stay home to practice law.
